Hebei Medical University Shijiazhuang, Capital of Hebei Province. Although located at the eastern fringe of the Eurasia continent and bordering the Bohai Sea, Shijiazhuang is affected more by the winds from the inland Republic of Mongolia and Siberia in the far north. The city has a relatively moderate climate all year round, except for the occasional seasonal monsoon, and the even more infrequent summer heat waves. Generally speaking the best time to visit the city is in autumn when the heat is pleasant and the inclement weather (rain/wind/snow) has yet to settle in.

Spring and autumn is the best time to be in Beijing, particularly in the months of April, May, September and October. Unfortunately, spring and autumn are shorter than summer and winter. Although winter is technically longer, that should not keep you from travelling to Beijing as indoor heating is widely available. Nevertheless, as the indoor/outdoor temperature difference is rather large, travelers should be prepared with warm clothing and a thick coat is recommended for the colder months of the year. In winter, off-season discounts are to be had as well.

Jiamusi University Jiamusi, Heilongjiang, Province As you can imagine, Jiamusi is cold in the winter! February is the coldest month and daytime temperatures sometimes fall to minus 20 degrees. Strangely enough, this does not seem to bother the 100-strong Indian and Pakistani student population in Jiamusi. They have come all the way to Jiamusi to study Western Medicine, a testament to the reputation of the town as a centre of medical excellence.

Shandong University Jinan Capital of Shandong Province Shandong has a warm-temperate monsoonal climate, with hot, rainy summers and dry, sunny winters. It has a mean annual temperature of 10.5 to 13.5 degrees Celsius -- the hottest month, July, averaging 24 to 27 degrees Celsius and the coldest month, January, -4 to 1 degrees Celsius -- and a mean annual precipitation of 550-950 mm.

North China Coal Medical University Tangshan, Hebei, Province Enjoying a warm-temperate monsoon climate, the city is dry in spring, hot and rainy in summer, and chilly in winter. The average annual temperature is near 11 C(51.8 F), and its average yearly rainfall reaches 760 millimeters (30 inches).

Wenzhou Medical College Wenzhou Capital of Zhiejiang Province Wenzhou has a subtropical monsoon climate with mild and moist weather and four distinct seasons.

Ningxia Medical College Yinchuan Capital of Ningxia Province Yinchuan, situated in the arid northwest of China, has a harsh climate. The temperatures of the four seasons are fairly distinctly separated here, although in any season the likelihood is that you will experience strong winds, dryness and frequent sandstorms. The average yearly temperature is between 8 and 9 degrees C. The coldest month of January averages minus 9, while the hottest month has an average of 23 degrees C. Annual rainfall, despite the picture on our right, is less than 8 inches.

Thus, its four seasons are distinct with neither extremely cold weather in winter nor extremely hot weather in summer. The average temperature of the year is 10.5 degrees Celsius, the rainfall of the year is 550 to 950 millimeters and the whole year sunshine is 2500 to 2800 hours.

Zhengzhou Medical University Zhengzhou Capital of Hunan Province With a warm temperate continental climate, the annual average temperature of Zhengzhou is about 14.3 C (about 57.7 F). The climate is comfortable, with bright sunshine and a clear distinction between the four seasons. The hottest month is July with an average temperature of about 27.3 C (about 81.1 F), while the coldest month is January, with an average temperature around minus 0.2 C (about 31.6 F) winter in Zhengzhou is cold though seldom snowy. However, rainfall is abundant during summer. Autumn is usually sunny and with long daytimes and is the best season for your travel to the city. If you are interested in visiting Zhengzhou in winter, heavy clothing is necessary, though sweaters and a jacket are enough during spring and autumn.

The climate of Shenyang region is temperate subhumid continental climate, the four seasons are clear with the highest atmospheric temperature in July when the average monthly air temperature is 24.0, and the lowest atmospheric temperature in January when the average monthly air temperature is -8.5

Xian Jiaotong University Xian Capital of Shaanxi Province The climate of Xian belongs to semi-humid temperate climate. Seasons change distinctively; therefore, it is in striking contrast for cold and warm, dry and wet. In spring, weather gets warm rapidly, and it is dry and windy; In summer, temperature is high, and the sunlight is strong. In autumn, it is warm and moist. Sometimes it gets overcast and rainy. Winter is cold and dry with little rain and snow. Climate in Qinling Mountains varies with the altitude, the middle-altitude area temperate climate, and the high altitude area is hiemal climate. The annual average temperature is 13.3 , the extreme highest temperature is 45.2 , the extremely lowest temperature is - 20.6 and annual average rainfall is 604.2 millimeters. Frost-free period is 207 days. The weather is favorable to crop-growing and people's living. The following data can show a clear picture of what the weather of Xian is like throughout a year.

Xinjiang Medical University Urumqi capital of Xinjiang Although forbidding in winter, Urumqi's climate is pleasant during the summer, with warm days and cool evenings. An extensive series of tree belts planted around the capital has helped to reduce wind, dust, and cold. Urumqi is surrounded by Tianshan Mountain in east, south and west sides. The area is higher in southeast part, and lower in northwest. It borders the southern edge of Junggar Basin in the north with an average elevation of 800 meters above sea level. Urumqi has an arid continental climate with short Spring and Autumn, and comparatively long Summer and Winter. The temperatures vary greatly in one day. The annual average rainfall is about 194 mm. The hottest months are July and August with an average temperature of 25.7 degree Celsius, the coldest January is about -15.2 degree Celsius.

Chengde Medical College Chengde, Hebei Province Surrounded by mountains, Chengde lies on the area between the Mongolia Plateau and the Huabei Plain. It has a temperate continental climate with an annual average temperature of 8.8oC, and has 150 frost-free days. Annual rainfall averages 580 millimeters. The climate of Chengde is temperate and weathers are not that harsh, temperatures reach both in winters and summers are quite comfortable. All four weathers can be seen. There is not much rain and snowfall seen. Winter starts in Nov and goes on till end of Feb. Coldest month being Jan, in which temperature may fall 10 degrees below zero. Hottest month is Aug, temp may range up to 35 C

Shihezi University, School of Medicine Shihezi, Xinjiang Province The climate of Shihezi is temperate and weathers are harsh, extreme temperatures reach both in winters and summers due to the desert environment. All four weathers can be seen. There is ample rain and snowfall seen. Winter starts in Oct and goes on till end of April. Coldest month being Jan, in which temperature may fall 20 degrees below zero. Hottest month is Aug, temp may range up to 40 C.
